Hey there foxy people. Can I get a high five for education! Kids are back at school and now I can be still and think my very own thoughts, eat my own food and count past three. Speaking of number three, here are the colours for our third instalment.
Rainbow bright – 1502 Rainbow
Rainbow pastel – 1109 Petunia
Fresh modern – 2401 Hatchling
On trend – 2406 Duckling
Shabby Chic – 800 Sage
Mud pie – 1903 Marble
Jewel – 916 Granny bonnet
Aubergine – 812 Eggplant
Rainforest – No.1 Rolling stone
These leafy things are tricky little buggers so I am going to do a video on them to explain how I do satin stitch. The bottom fat bit is backstitched in a medium stitch size and the dashed lines are spaced backstitch, not running stitch. If you remember from my backstitch video, spaced backstitch sits alot nicer than running stitch.
Sorry for the blurry photo on this one. The outline of the leaves and the veins/stem are stem stitch. The diagonal vein lines are a medium sized backstitch. You only have two bits to stitch this time so you should have that done in a jiffy. (sorry for the sarcasm, I’ve been spending too much time with my twelve year old. Whatevs)
